Re: Any hunters out there?
I come from a long line of hunters, although I don't do it myself. Mostly birds like ducks and pheasants, not deer and things. My Dad fed us when I was little by shooting pheasants. My Mom does not like pheasant any more. I remember having to spit out the BBs.
Some local restaurants have game on the menu. The Rok, a place where you cook your food on a hot volcanic stone, has ostrich and wild boar this week. Of course, ostrich is not really "game" any more than buffalo is, since they raise them on farms.
