Horror stories?
Well, I'm not a windmill afficianado (sp?), but I've not heard any such horror stories. There are plenty of windmills here in northern Illinois, and thus far they've been content to just sit'n'spin. And we get some freakishly powerful winds out here as a matter of course.
So do these horror stories involve people being diced-and-sliced? Abducted by windmill-hating ETs? And how near is "near?" Wouldn't want to live right under one, though I'd imagine even that'd be relatively safe...all things considered...
