Let me put it this way.
If I had one of those near my house, i.e. within maybe a mile (could be more or less--I don't know and I'm not going to look it up) and the whirring kept ME awake, there would be major problems. You do know that major sleep deficits can eventually cause psychosis, don't you? I've been damn near that one time. There have also been other things reported but I can't speak to those. Only sound.
