Grandparents all gone now, unfortunately. The old farmhouse is abandoned, although my cousin keeps it clean and watches over it.
I tried to grow carrots in boxes. Got REAL baby carrots. Tried sugar snap peas. Harvest consisted of two (2) pods. Corn? Hah.
I have an apple tree that makes passable apples, although small, and a good lemon tree. I had to chop down the walnut tree as it was overhanging neighbors in a threatening manner, and the tree that had been at that spot before had fallen down spontaneously.
My back yard is about twenty five feet on a side. Kind of crowded, but I can use an electric lawnmower!
