Re: Nah.

We've been over this. Count the ways that conservatives are realistically trying to "control every part of our personal lives." You've tallied two. I bet you'd have a hard time coming up with four.

Now count the ways that liberals are trying to control our lives. Our health, what we eat, what we drive, how we work, everything about how we run our businesses, what kind of house we can live in, what lightbulbs, toilets, and frigging grocery bags we can use. Whether or not we should be using air conditioning, or have too many choices in stores or on the internet.

If I wanted to spend the time on a tally, I could fill pages. There is nothing in our lives that leftists do not think needs to be controlled at some level by the state.

These liberal examples are not hypothetical or imaginary. These are laws right now, being enacted and enforced, with more coming down the pike as I write this. When was the last time anyone was prosecuted under archaic things like fornication or sodomy laws?

If you look at it honestly, there is no comparison at all between conservative threats to our liberty and "progressive" threats. None.

To put it more bluntly, in a world run by "progressives," pretty much the ONLY choice you would eventually have is abortion.
