Not you, Rob, I'm referring to Tom. Usually it's us Liberals who get that treatment from Tom, but I can imagine it must be ten times as irritating when you're nominally on the same side. I'm posting to commiserate.
Tom's painting himself into a corner out of fanaticism. The racism inherent in this one incident is painfully obvious, but by trying to deny it out of pure partisanship, he's put himself into the position of defending racism. Your point that the rank-and-file at TPN don't seem to be falling for the demagoguery is being buried under Tom's huffing and puffing. And that's sadly ironic.
Even weirder is his continued insistence that TPN is a figment of my imagination. Geez, you're a member too, would you at least testify to the existence of Tea Party Nation? We need to haul Tom back from the troposphere.
