It may be more efficient and cost-effective
But that doesn't matter much when you add one more thing to the list of bottom-line businesses killing us with their efficiency. And they are--literally killing us. You, me, your children, their children. We'll all have shorter lives than necessary (many of us VERY shorter) because of all the futzing with food products and the sludge that goes into the air and the water. We're fouling our own nest.
