In the beginning, the justification for the Iraq war was Saddam’s hidden stockpile of WMD. When they didn’t materialize a lot of conservatives here held to the hope that they would, and some continued trying to account for their whereabouts- not wanting to admit they were wrong. When the reason for going to war changed to the “liberation of the Iraqi People†, WMD was swept under the rug.
These heads have butted before.
According to TB, Charles Manson seized "on something almost at random to justify his lunacy". Glen Beck is nowhere near "Random". TB can't concede the slightest point against his worldview.
