No one said they couldn't HAVE potatoes
But the government won't pay for them. People eat too many starches combined with too much fat and the result is heart disease and obesity. If parents are too uncaring or too stupid to try to protect their kids, it's left to the government to do it for them. You and I and every consumer in this country pay for the extra health care costs for obese persons. I applaud the effort to try to change how kids eat and it doesn't matter where it comes from.
