Your numbers don't add up, the articles you site are spins and the proof is in the bottom line. The unemployment rate is worse than when the stimulus was enacted and that's the facts.
This talk of 3.5 million jobs created reminds me of the estimated claims of shovel ready that jobs will be created along with a reduction in the unemployment rate railed by the administration's economic team by enacting the stimulus plan. Even the liberal LA Times reported that the stimulus was a failure regarding creating jobs after receiving $110 billion. And then after it is all done Obama says there is no such thing as shovel ready jobs confirming it didn't work.
Friday new employment numbers will be out and it doesn't look any better.
Europe was in the same financial crisis and recession we went through and their numbers are better than the US and this after Obama's failed attempt to try and convince other nations around the world at the G20 to spend more stimulus money. Obama tried to tell Germany that they should step up to the plate and spend more stimulus money like he was doing and they said no. Well guess what, Germany's unemployment rate has dropped and their economic growth has improved much better than the US. In fact the US is rated 25th out of 30th countries for the worst improvement of unemployment.
So, how many real jobs could have been created and how low would the unemployment rate be if would have followed other countries policies who have proven spending more stimulus money doesn't work? Knowing the American people and their drive for prosperity I think we would be much better off.
After the election Tue. be looking for the stock market to show signs of confidence in hopes of the country heading in the right direction because of anticipated republican policies.
