Hmmmm

I don't think hearing your heart beating in your ears is normal. I certainly don't have that and I have heart issues including Hi BP (well under control). BP tends to rise overnight. I'm wondering if you could be having episodes of hi BP. Do you have access to a blood pressure machine? If so, you might want to start monitoring your own just to be safe. Always make sure you've been sitting, not doing anything active, for at least 5-10 minutes. If you've just been active, give it a bit longer. Check it at different times of the day, morning, afternoon, night.

I can give you a breathing exercise to try when your heart is beating in your ears. If the breathing exercise helps that, then you'll want to go to a doctor who is an expert if the field of BP, i.e. a cardiologist. Cardiologists specialize in different areas of cardiology, too.

If you want the breathing exercise, let me know and I can post it here.
