But regs like that have been in place in Canada for nearly 2 decades, if I'm getting my timeline right. People still smoke. In public, if they so choose. There's no army of jackbooted Leftist Thought Police snatching the cigarette from between their lips. It was never a matter of making choices for people, it was a matter of making sure their choice to harm themselves was an informed one.
