Hybrid and electric car sales will not be great as outlined by study

Hybrid and electric cars are a minority among car sales. A new study by J.D. Power and Associates purports that sales will stay slow for at least a decade. The sales for hybrid and electric cars at the moment are a small portion of the market, which is where the report begins. Study forecasts slow growth in electric car sales

J.D. Power and Associates did a record on the next decade of electric car sales. USA Today reports that electric cars and hybrid cars are shown in the report to just be beginning out. Hybrid and electric cars aren’t bought by many people within the world. Only 2.2 percent of global car sales contain them. There will only be an boost to 7.3 percent in worldwide sales. That’s including electric and hybrid car sales. Now it seems like people are more interested in what the drawbacks are of hybrid and electric cars. This stops them from buying.

A reasons needs to be given

In order for sales of electric cars and hybrid cars to get a huge boost, you will find some things that will have to happen first, according to CNN. Worldwide fuel prices would have to rise. There are also concerns that electric cars lack enough range to replace gasoline engines. The price for a Toyota Prius instead of a Toyota Corolla is substantially different. This is an additional concern. Charging time and also the lack of an extensive track record are also negatives in car buyers' minds.

Size is essential with dollars paid

It costs an additional $5,000 for a liability with less power. You’ll have to replace the battery at some point. Consumers are also concerned that the decrease in fuel consumption and money saved on gas aren't sufficient to cover the extra sticker price.
