If electric cars become widely used, there will have grown up a new type of support industry. Motels and hotels will have "charging stations" where the cars can be charged. The range will also have to be increased considerably to make this type of car practical. Also helpful would be a way to charge the battery in a very short period of time, say 15 minutes for a full charge. Perhaps restaurants and even fast food places will have charging stations where the patron can plug in their car for a partial or full recharge while they eat. Grocery stores? Same thing. While customers shop, they can charge their batteries. Maybe there will be a parking section designated for charging vehicles.
All problems which I assume will be overcome.
