At what point in this republic did my life and property become subject to "majority rule?" Sorry, but this is not a "democracy" as you seem to define it. There are rights above and beyond "majority rule."
And no, I am not going to accept the constant attempt of liberals to define forced wealth redistribution as "charity," "compassion," "generosity," or any of the other attempts of political leaders to whitewash looting for political gain.
