Republican offers one-page alternative to giant "omnibus" bill.

The Omnibus bill has apparently been pulled. As I hear it (still catching up) a number of Republicans who were joining in to slide it through with a load of pork got their heads handed to them by their constituents. They changed their minds.
Not sure where things are going from here but for now, thank God.
