Well....

Personally, I have to agree with that Eri. Since matter can neither be created nor destroyed, and I see no place for essences of "space" and "time" as anything more than measurements of the world around us, It seems logical that the Big Bang was the result of a gigamassive black hole. The idea a that an explosion created the universe seems more like a persistant meddling of religous ideals, really. Plus, there's one other thing. For a long time, we have accepted that the speed of light is consant. Nowadays, therer is strong evidence that it is not. We gauge the size of the universe by how far away we can see objefcts (around 13 - 14 billion light yeears) but who's to say that the sight of the stars from Earth alone defines the universe's borders? Looks like a Ptolemic view if you ask me.

Perhaps the universe is many, many times larger than than we know, or can ever percieve. Perhaps it is impossible for the human mind to define the limits of the universse (if there are any at all, that is).
