The entire purpose of the "stimulus" was creating new jobs. That was what the Democrats tried to sell us on. That was what Obama promised.

You don't know how to argue gracefully. For example, absent actually looking up the numbers, a better way to approach your guess that a lower GDP was the cause of the above chart numbers might have been with just a bit of humility. It was a guess, and it was wrong. Everybody throws a wrong hypothesis out there now and then, so it pays to allow yourself a little room to back it out.
You don't know how to lose an argument gracefully, either. At some point it always seems to be a decay into childish name-calling and baseless accusations.
