I tried cut and pasting it and the same thing happened.
Anyhow...
It's funny but this seems like the recurring time in our conversations (to parallel what you said about me), when you say something crazy, lose on your defense of it, start to pretend the whole thing did not happen, and begin nitpicking that I should not have said what I said because a prior post of yours did not open some sort of door to permit me to say what I said. That I was somehow in violation of a rule about what topics I can discuss. Weird shit, man.
I'm kind of torn between refusing to play a game where I have to justify my right to post something, and my obsessive obligation to respond to what you've posted in your demand.
Ah well, in your post subjected 'time' you voiced the lie that:
"His ideas to "fix" the economy were wrong. I repeat: Every single economic factor he "inherited" got worse, and for easily-identifiable reasons. I don't have to wait two years, five years, or a hundred to "see if it works." History and reason tell me what I need to know."
My response was to set you straight on the various crazy points of that statement:
1) That, as you pointed out during the Bush administration, you *do* have to wait for multiple years to see how bills and taxation changes effect the economy.
2) That the economy is doing what people said it would back in '08. Man people were scared about it. They used phrases like "another great depression" pretty frequently. For you to say it did not happen... I just don't know what to make of it.
My response very directly addressed what you said in your post. Please do not try to disqualify it for breaking some rule you have in your head.
