Re: Total means total

Do you honestly think that the only regulation on a U.S. industry that manufactures crayons is a rule preventing the use of lead in them? This is the idiotic comeback I get all the time along the lines of "well, I guess you don't want any regulations at all." Instead of tens of thousands of them? Might there be some room in the middle?

If I had a U.S. company employing 200 people, tell me one single aspect of how that industry is run that is not subject to some form of regulation at some level.

A little background here.

If you want to think about something, think about the fact that recent issues of lead in our toys and crayons right now involve things that come from a country where the government runs their industries.
