Re: "center left"

I have a hell of a lot more evidence for his radical views than you have for anything resembling conservative ideas. With the exception of his war policies - which I suspect consists mostly of him letting the military handle things their own way - I have seen no real difference in what he has done domestically and in foreign policy versus what, say, a socialist would have done.

He has attacked the financial industry, the energy industry, the health industry, and pretty much any major industry that has committed the crime of being for profit and not under the thumb of the State. His background is radical, his colleagues in the past and present have been radical, and his appointments are mostly radicals. When he's among liberal friends giving speeches, his rhetoric is radical.

Every solution he has proposed for issues involves more government control and more centralized authority. Most of his speech was about government industrial policy. "Creating" jobs for him means jobs paid for by the government, distributed to favored recipients by the government, and controlled by the government.
