I'll have to familiarize myself with the APP more. On the surface, some of the goals, tenets are palatable but I'll have to look more closely into it. As an author, the 14 years + 14 does bother me. Not that I'll be alive 28 years from now. But say a young writer has a best seller and writes only one, to take their copyright away after 28 years would be unconscionable. They should be able to continue drawing money from their published work as long as they live if people are still buying the work. As an author, that point would be non-negotiable.
