I never had strong feelings about her one way or the other. She always seemed just a bit spaced, which I interpreted as harmlessness. Not very bright on my part.
Conservatives (including our TB, of course) have been firing warning shots about Pelosi for a long time. It was just easier to ignore them, which is, I suppose, exactly what can allow government to sneak a hand up your butt and start working you like a muppet. (Yeah, apologies for that image.)
