How 'bout dem Mau Mau?

TB, to you, anyone with any objection to your program is a socialist. It really used to piss me off, but now I welcome you pointing it out, it only reinforces my conviction and educates the uncommitted. As far as my political lexicon is concerned, "socialist" is in the opposite direction of "fascist". And that's a good thing.

As for the rest, I can't believe you missed that flap. It was all over the left wing media! It should be on the net, look it up, but go into the original sources, not the right wing spin job and cover up.

Mike Huckabee mentioned in a Fox interview (where else?)that Obama had been infected by anti-British imperialist views while he was growing up in Kenya, and obliquely implied he was sympathetic to the Mau Mau (the native uprising in Kenya to Brit rule back in the 50s.). For the record, Obama was brought up in Hawaii and for a short time in Indonesia, not Kenya. It's all part of the Birther substitute for good old-fashioned All-American racism. The Liberal Media won't let you get away with that any more.

Newt Gingrich also made similar remarks. Huckabee is a rube and a jerk, but Gingrich knows better, he was just scoring points with Joe the Plumber.
This deliberate attempt to paint Obama as a foreigner, an alien, an outsider, is no accident. It is part of a conscious plan, and what I find revolting is not just the idiots that believe it, or the manipulators who cynically propagate it knowing it is not true, but those conservatives who know it is false but say nothing to call out those who push it.

You can lump that "socialist" crapola right in there with it. Righties use "socialist" the way jihadists use "Zionist", or Nazis used "Jew". I'm not buying it, and I'm not even sure you do.

And one more thing, Mr Huckabee--"anti-imperialist" is a GOOD thing.
