My own theory about this involves my own birth certificate, issued in 1947.
I was born at my Aunt and Uncle Blanche and Frank Norton's house on Matanzas street in Tampa Florida. I was delivered by a midwife, Giuseppina Valenti, a Tampa pioneer who had received her training as an Italian-government licensed midwife in Sicily, and was famous for riding a mule around that island with a Mauser strapped across her back, birthin' bambinos. No, I am not making any of this up.
There is a blank space on the certificate with the question "Legitimate?", which was duly inscribed by Signora Valenti (no, what she said in it is none of your business). I'm just speculating, but perhaps this is why Hawaii does not release original birth records, to spare potential embarrassment to individuals.
What I find fascinating is what if Obama was NOT born in the USA, and his Presidency was constitutionally invalid? That might be the case and he might not even be aware of it himself! In any case, what difference does it make?
Of all the potential qualifications for office, that is surely the most irrelevant. Of all the facts about you, your heritage is the least important of all. You should be neither ashamed nor proud of it. After all, you had absolutely nothing to do with it.
