The meme has outlived its usefulness and is now starting to become a real liability. In fact, a downright embarrassment. The whole thing was dying down right on schedule like it was supposed to, until Huckabee, Gingrich, Malkin and now Trump started jumping all over it. Rove immediately saw it was getting out of control, but it looks like he was too late to stop it. Karl is just targeting empty silos, now. I suppose other "responsible" conservatives will be coming out now to help with damage control.
People are starting to ask, "Who made up this crap and why should we believe anything these clowns say?"
Unless, of course, it was a liberal plot all along, to distract us from the REAL issues, all those icky numbers. It's all the media's fault for reporting it. Yeah, that must be it.
