Actually, I love Tax Day. It's my kitties' birthday. Now, I just wish I could remember how old the little fellas are. The memory is the first thing to go....? Well, I'm rockin' and rollin' right down the list.
I prefer to file early, too, since I have gotten a refund for a lot of years (thank you, God, and the IRS). But if I had to pay in, the US government is welcome to make as much interest off my funds as possible, providing it helps pay off the national debt. I'll do my part.
However, in honor of tax day, you and I are paying for these slough-offs: And this is one reason I have no sympathy if the rich pay higher taxes. Leona said, "Only the little people pay taxes..." Yeah, and those little people sent her ass to jail for not paying hers. Youza!
