Running shorts with no pockets!

A little pet peeve of mine…

I went to the store recently and bought a pair of running shorts. Later when I felt like going for a 5 km jog, I realized that the shorts had no pockets. Why would some idiotic sporting apparel company make shorts with no pockets? Where the hell am I supposed to keep my keys, ID, money, etc. when I go out for a run? Up my ass?
