I have Canadian friends blowing off a free cruise 'cause they're afraid of a Toronto to Ft Lauderdale flight. You couldn't keep my wife off that free trip. People flocking to emergency rooms terrified of anthrax. Several people in NYC claimed to have become sick upon opening the mail. They ever hear of an incubation period? Its this same suggestibility that produces mass hallucinations like visits by the Virgin Mary or mass UFO sightings.

Look, its smart to become situationally aware and to be slightly more "paranoid" relative to pre 911 behaviour, but too many folks have retreated into their personal equivalent of bin Laden's cave.

On a side note could congress get off their ass and pass some serious punishment laws to screw those domestic sick bastards who take advantage of this situation and copycat terror with bomb scares, envelopes of talcum powder, etc.
