I would reply to your response, but I can't, because your scripts don't work. That's the bottom line. Fix them.
I said learn FORTH, not use it. Learning to use it will make you an all around better programmer. If FORTH is so unsuccessful, why is it still around?
Sure, the real world is harsh, that's why I live on a desert island, use threaded interprepretive languages where appropriate, and compiled inline code where appropriate, don't write scripts in nonsensical languages, and I am passionate about Netscape Communicator 4.7x. I must be doing something right, or alternatively, not doing something wrong. No software is perfect, but I'll gladly trade a little stability against software that is riddled with holes and con't be modified in the least way.
Pride and proud are not part of my working vocabulary. Consider yourself lucky to have gotten any comments out of me at all. I'm ashamed to even be posting here, but this time of year I have little else to do.
Keep working on those boundary conditions, you'll get it right eventually. At the very least, stretch out and shorten up this darn text input form, that will probably fix your Post Reply problem.
