Gotta love Santa Cruz, the land that time forgot. Still stuck in the 60s. Fun place to visit. Beautiful setting. Clint made a movie there "Sudden Impact" in the early 80s where he does his thing with the bad guy rapists in the amusement park.
I'd add the people's Republic of Cambridge (MA) as another nest of wannabe commies. Designated as a nuclear free zone during the cold war. :)
