I assumed that the article was extreme, very much like some of the things written in UK tabloids about the U.S. However, it is safe to say that anti-semitism is and always has been as real in Europe as AA racism in the USA.

By your observations, how prevalent is anti-semitism in France and Belgium and is it trending up or down? Do the Europeans fear the Islamic minority? I seriously doubt that the average European counts many Islamics as a personal friend.
