Yes...

I agree. I have tried to make clear that racism isn't intelligent and that no genetic make up can lay claim to superiority or inferiority, as it is the individual who harnesses the genetic code that makes the overwhelming difference between intelligence, etc.

My Post was addressing Lindy & Bowser more directly - I think Lee sometimes posts before thinking twice and usually afterwords realizes his errors. I know Lee hails from Tennessee and that he probably has had a different experience & interaction with the varying races than one gets in LA or San Diego. If one simply tries to judge based upon statistics or what one reads in the paper, or even one's own personal experiences, one will be handicapped in coming to a more thorough assessment of the reality of any apparent racial disparities.

I am not trying to be an enabler - and I guess I don't mind being compared to grandmothers - as they are usually pretty savvy folk. ;-)

Thanks for allowing me to reiterate my beliefs and clarify my position, Rob - I know you are not on a moral high horse but simply see things pretty clearly and just don't like to see racism in any shape or form. I don't either - because it's a very finite, artificial perspective.

Take care Rob - (and now in a grandmotherly tone) - I am so proud of you!
