It is good that germany and France have sworn off war
Now they should eliminate their standing armies and pound their guns into plowshares.
The world is now a safer place as Germany and France will never again use military force against their enemies.
Now if we could only get that Franco-Geman pacifism to spread to the Middle East and North Korea: We would truely achieve world peace and even the US could start to think about spending less on military hardware.
