First you say it's a dead subject, now that I've shown it's still used, you say, "yeah, but just for convenience. So which is it, yes or no? And it's only used to describe observable physical features not genetic ones. Where the Hell do you think those physical features come from, out of someone's ass? No, they come from genes! Genes determine physical traits you babbling idiot. That's like saying the terms male and female are just labels but that they have no bearing on genetic traits.
Read the discussion on the Space Board about the Irish and Welsh, the distinctions being made between the differing groups by scientists are being made solely on genetic differences and similarities.
