<Time! Glasses, gentlemen…

There are 5 million people in Baghdad. One of them MAY have been Saddam Hussein.

And a typical conservative response to innocent civilians, with whom the conservatives constantly chatter they have no quarrel, are bombed and killed is the above.

In effect - “Raise our glasses, gentlemen, have a drink. The infidels are finally getting theirs!!” And this was the tone for most conservatives.

Now, either these conservatives are unprincipled, insensitive and callow to the extreme, or they believe this war is a made-for-TV experience for them.

Sadly, it could be both.

Reminds me of Romans, gladiators and Christians. Except those Christians were principled.
