Sorry Excuse For Avoiding Responsibility
Emotion is not an excuse to avoid using your mind. The horror of war should always be kept in mind to ensure all other possible means are exhausted. Once those are, then you must use your brain to decide is it truly justified. The only justification I support is reducing the net loss of life or self defense. Both apply in this case although the net loss of life is far stronger in my view.
