Try this: How would the Roma have felt about someone coming in, taking out the Queen of Hungary with a 2000 lb. bomb, and giving them their children back?

The old leftists are right. The modern left is no longer against oppression, just against America.
And too bad you weren't there to explain to the Roma parents that it's much better to live and suffer ghastly oppression than to die to try and stop it. Hey, at least those parents would have been alive, right? And they can always have more kids. Life goes on.
Not sure the Roma are the best example for you to use here. These people know something about oppression, and may not agree with you.
