Off Topic » in reply to P.S. I'll repeat the question:

I'll crawl into the slime.

Without going through the entire pathetic, hysterical misrepresentation of the political affiliation of most Americans and mischaracterization of those same Americans, I remember one part about telling "wrinkled Americans the Republican Party wants to take away their Social Security".

That is so much BS that to argue with it is to try to shout down Ollie North, who, by the way, should be shot as a traitor. Darling of the right-wing, though, who seem to love their own traitors, betrayers of the country, and drug dealer.

Anyway, no one says the Republicans want to take away Social Security. Did you hear that? No one says the Republicans want to take away Social Security.

They do want to funnel the money into the stock market, in a scheme designed to make the rich richer, and I don't think they want to kill that golden goose right away. By making more money available to buy stocks, the same stocks, they just drive the cost up. Not the value. The cost. So the bloated CEO's will make more. Those Republicans, they can think of it, can't they?

Now. Can you admit it? The guy misstated at best, lied at worst. And if you can't admit this one, what's the use.

I really don't see the wiggle room, unless you want to use the rhetoric of some inner city representative. The DEMOCRATIC PARTY does not say the Republicans want to take away Social Security.

Why you put your faith in this guy is beyond me.
