On this one.

Don't apologize. Used to be kids, now animals. Just had to take care of those guys. I have a dog that won't chew on a bone unless it's been microwaved, and a cat that won't eat canned chicken. Actually, the cat had only dry food for about 17 years, but has lost a couple of teeth so I just started with some canned stuff. Likes the "Seafood Supreme", the "Tuna Platter", the "Whitefish Dinner", doesn't like the "Chicken Dinner". Will eat the cheap stuff, doesn't like the expensive "Salmon Steak". Go figure.

I would expect the stores to sell something like "Rat Rib Roast" and "Mouse Mousse", but they don't. Clearly humans buy the stuff.

And, not proud of it, but I do microwave the damned bones, and buy the "Seafood Supreme".

Actually, I wish either of my wives would have been more like the dog and cat. They don't ask where I've been or what I did and the later I get home the happier they are to see me.

I don't think that "forcing deep cuts" equates to "take away" Social Security.

Diminish the benefits of Social Security, true. "Take away" to me means "take away".

If you "take away" a gun from a kid, does that mean you leave him two bullets? Nope. It means the kid who once had a gun no long has one.

If I "take away" your driving privileges, that doesn't mean you get a smaller car, or can only take short trips. Means you don't drive. Etc. Ergo QED.
