A dirty job...

<Read Bury My Heart at Wounded Knee: An Indian History of the American West and then we can talk morality.

There’s an old saying – “When you have manure on your mustache, the whole world stinks.”

Remember that "blame America" syndrome I mentioned where we are apparently supposed to be unable to judge any other nation's evils because of what we did to the Indians? Good example.

At the beginning of the 16th century, Native American population was estimated at 5 million. By the end of the 18th century, this had dropped to about 600,000. That this is tragic is inarguable. However, the Communists wiped out about 80 million of their own citizens--not counting deaths related to war--in less than a century. This should not be glossed over either.

The invasion of Russia by Germany was rough, no doubt. It would look a little better using it as an excuse for their tyranny if most of Stalin's monstrous abuses had not taken place long before WWII had even started. The Ukraine genocide, over 10 million peasants deliberately killed, took place from 1932-1933.

Focussing on one aspect of any society will lead to a distorted view of it. The USSR was a terrible place in a lot of ways. There is no, none, zero doubt about that. And, it worked for most of the people.

Hitler's Germany worked for "most of the people." Sorry. Not good enough.

I'm sorry that you seem to be stuck as official Apologist for Monsters, but I guess although it's a dirty job, someone has to do it.
