Concealed weapons

Okay, you know better, but a lot of less-informed people have similar concerns, so I will address it:

In real life, this wouldn't happen. In real life, in states where concealed or unconcealed weapons are common, it doesn't happen.

Maybe backshooting is the first thing that enters the mind of a leftist--not surprisingly--but most normal people don't behave that way. In armed societies, people behave no more stupidly with a gun than they would otherwise. In an armed society, the kind of lunatic who would pull a gun over a door scratch would, unless he was the Rawhide Kid or Superman, have a life expectancy measured in weeks. Evolution in action.

The more normal, honest people have weapons, the better for all of us. The psychos will always be armed.

Every state should have a right to carry concealed weapons. I used to think that weapons right out in holsters would be even better, and a more obvious deterrent to the idiot criminal, but concealed weapons can be just as effective a deterrent, and allows those who don't want to carry to benefit from the deterrent effect of those who do.
