The United Nations Charter, which our nation wrote in large part, and signed and ratified as a treaty in 1945, provides that — except in response to an armed attack — nations may neither threaten nor engage in warfare without the authorization of the UN Security Council.
Warfare was fought differently in 1945. And leaving aside the fact that the modern U.N. is comprised largely of crooks, and leaving aside the fact that most of its membership has already pissed all over this particular rule, we need to address the current situation. This ain't your daddy's war rules any more.
And these left-wing attorneys aren't kidding anybody. They don't give a rat's ass about the rules of war, they just think George Bush ought to die of a sucking gut wound.
These same guys are still crying in their beer about the 2000 election, which pretty much says it all.
