Which cannot recognize the legitimacy of other interests, and which calls everyone with whom it doesn't agree "crooks".

It's believable, we all see them do it, but it's incredibly selfish.

For instance, Saddam is small potatoes compared to the slaughters which are occuring in Africa. American outrage at Saddam would seem hypocritical to a Rwandan watching the US not care what happens there.

Hard to believe America expects the UN to agree with every position the US takes. Or calls 'em crooks.

But it does. At least the conservative elements do.
