. . . and that's crockery of the finest clay.
The U.N. did not form this planet, and the U.N. did not mold humanity in its image. Nor is there such a thing as a one-mold-fits-all for people. The responsibility of child-rearing is that of the parents, not some benighted assembly of spineless task-masters, seeming to foster the very rudiments of democracy as some kind of dictatorial rule. If the individual U.N. reps wish for their own, personal children to have the right to rebel against them over oatmeal for breakfast three days in a row, and no toaster strudel, all the way to the already overloaded court system of their choice, then let them.
Welcome to the freedom of America, my friend, where kids are still kids, parents are still parents -- and breakfast is still oatmeal.
