A treaty is something in which two parties make an agreement for mutual benefit. I can think of a number of ways the United States will be damaged by signing this treaty. Can you tell me one way in which we would benefit? Will our kids suddenly be treated better because the U.N. says so? What do we get by signing a treaty that pretends North Korea is a civilized nation?
And please don't say anything along the lines of "international approval." I would probably be motivated into obscenity.
