As far as I know, Canada doesn't have a First Amendment. 'Nuff said.

Canada's socialist party is, of course, called the New Democrats...used to be the New Democratic Party--if it had been the People's New Democratic Party it would have been a give-away, I suppose.)
I have noted that socialists change the name of their movement quite frequently. It's a lot like people who pass bad checks, and for roughly similar reasons. I think currently in American they're called "progressives," but I don't know if that's the most recent.
