One wonders with so little choice in the political scope, in the US, is there really more freedom to choose?
Here, the re are the communists (vanishing quickly), the socialists, the greens, the social democrats,the centrists, the conservatives (called libéraux, here), the royalists, the extreme-right.
And of course, freedom of expression is there.
True, newspapers have their political preferences, but they also can change, with time. TV channels are either state-owned or commercial.
The state-owned flemish TV used to show the MIR passages shedules on the teletext, but one day they decided to drop it under the pretext that nobody looks at them anyway; the funny thing is that the flemish commercial TV channel is now providing us with the info, but coming from another source that managed to convince the channel there are enough people interested.
