so maybe you can understand. Lott said an incredibly stupid thing and was forced to pay for it. Rightfully so.

Senator Murray has also said an incredibly stupid thing. Of course, she'll almost certainly never be expected to pay a price for her gross stupidity. She's a Democrat, after all.
