Life is great
It couldn't be much better, truth be told. It must truly suck to be a Democrat, IMO. Your elected leaders can get away with virtually anything and that's ok so long as they keep pushing the agenda. Like the line from old song goes, "That what you permit, you allow."
BTW: When I grew up in Alabama and went through all that racial turmoil, EVERY SINGLE ONE of the politicians that were causing the turmoil were Democrats like George Wallace and Lester Maddox. Go to the most backwards areas and you'll find that little has changed. That's one of the reasons why I'm a Republican, and why I'm so happy that Democrats controlling Congress and the White House.
